With Clinique's Lash Doubling Mascara in Black, it's a lethal combo. Not that I've tested it out (by which I mean, I totally have), but this stuff will stay on for 2 straight days. Say, if you are stuck in a Bedouin tent with no access to a real shower and it's 30 degrees at night (despite the fact that you were SCHVITZING mere hours ago). I knew I wasn't going to be applying the liner on a daily, what with waking at the ripe hour of 4am, so I had to break out the big guns and kick my Bliss Lidstick (much as I love it) to the curb. I busted out the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Espresso Ink (I’m too fair to wear straight black). When applied CAREFULLY with a skinny eyeliner brush (Lola Cosmetics makes a fantastic brush for just that purpose, bt dubs), it can and WILL rough several hikes, rain, shine, Hell AND highwater. There was no way I was going to be living amongst boys sans eyeliner, ever, no matter what the consequences. Let's be serious.

So if you were ever on Survivor, would eyeliner be your luxury item?
I waffle between concealer and mascara. Not that I am going to be on Survivor, but sometimes I think about it.
Because I am strange, and I think too much.
I totally missed The Office last night, but it is on Tivo and will be in full effect later this morning.

P, I think about which "desert island " item I'd choose ALL OF THE TIME. These days, it would def be gel eyeliner. I just look so unfinished without it. Like someone came and erased all of my features. Although if I could pick three, it'd obv be the mascara/liner/concealer combo. The Office was a repeat! I put it on and was so disappointed not to see Jim doing something new. Try the bobbi brown liner, you'll ADORE it. Have a great day as well!
ReplyDeleteok SERIOUSLY- this eyeliner stayed on in the desert, though the rain, and the cold, and the hiking, and the camping adn camels, 5 days deep. have NEVER seen anything like it and am on my way to purchase this little gem.
