The Event to End All Events

This evening, my fantastic friend Carrie invited me to the end all, be all event of my life. A SEPHORA OPENING. What's better? I can answer you with full conviction.... NOT ONE THING. Because? They had hors d'oeuvres, wine, fun blue and green drinks AND free samples. And a fun Sephora tote bag if you bought anything at all. I made best friends forever with Sabrina, a delightful skincare expert who gave me free samples of philosophy and Dr. Hauschka products all night long (to be said in full Lionel Ritchie manner). And then I made the following purchases: A new You're Bluffing, Frederic Fekkai Wave Spray and Philosophy's On a Clear Day. Reviews coming just as soon as I try everything out (obv, except for You're Bluffing, which I've already informed all of you is the best yellow concealer going). PS Carrie spent $130 on new products. No one should be privy to my beauty advice in a brand new Sephora with free flowing drinks. Ever, in a world. Love you, C.

I actually had a dream last night that I had a giant plastic bag - a la the Barney's warehouse sale, which, until last night, was the most exhilirating shopping experience of 2007...but I digress - and could just take products from the shelves of Sephora and make them my very own without a visit to the cash register. It was a truly wonderful dream, and needless to say when my alarm went off this morning, I was highly disappointed that the ginormous bag o' beauty booty was not a reality.

Love you too, A. PS - I shopped to the tune of $196! And used every single new product already this morning!
