AXE's new Twist Fresh Fragrance boasts a complex scent that belies its totally thrifty price tag. I actually tested it out on myself to smell for myself the body spray's claim that it's a "fragrance that changes." The co-creation team and perfumers at AXE worked to magnify the differences between the first spritz and the spray's fragrance after four hours of wear. For the price point, it's far more complicated than the Designer Imposter for dudes scent I was anticipating. How so? AXE Twist starts with a burst of fresh lime, then dissipates over time into an earthy compilation of cedar and sandalwood for a more masculine vibe (the better to keep the ladies interested). It's two very different scent categories that combine to create a sexy male fragrance with gravitas.
