Fictionary: Getting FollOCular

Fictionary is a column showcasing beauty-related words that don't exist, but should.

Dolls, last weekend, I was in New Jersey for a weekend-long wedding extravaganza for my friend Stacey. My bridesmaid hair looked fierce--when you say you like big hair in Jers, by gosh you GET big hair. They don't mess around with volume. Anywho, come Sunday, my hair needed a little help. The volumized curls I'd been rocking the night before were wilting and needed a little pick-me-up. Unfortunately, my Bumble and bumble  Surf Spray, which I'd use for this type of occasion, was at home in my blockade of Sterilite drawers I use to store my beauty items. And everything I brought was only for use on wet hair and I was NOT washing my hair for this brunch after the Champagne-soaked evening I'd had.

What to do?
I realized I did have a product that would work in a pinch as a wave spray thanks to its solution of water and salt. I decided to get follOCular (follicular + ocular) and spray a stream of my Bausch and Lomb Biotrue Multi-purpose Solution into the length my hair. A little wide-toothed combing, a little scrunching, and we were good to go. The solution I've been loving for my contacts--it ALSO boasts a clear bottle so you can see when it's time to replenish your stock, like their Renu Fresh--it turns out, is also great for my hair. Your eyes will love that it's pH to match your tears. Your hair will love its wave-encouraging capabilities. Get involved.

Biotrue Multi-Purpose Solution retails for $16 for a set of two bottles on amazon.com.
