Official Mascara Correspondent: No. 7 Extravagant Mascara

The latest installment from BBJ's Official Mascara Correspondent Ashleigh Ciucci is No. 7 Extravagant Mascara. Here, her review.

As you may or may not know, I'm a sucker for a big brush. Give me Cover Girl Lash Blast or Benefit Bad Gal Lash and I'm in heaven. So imagine my glee when I opened No. 7's Extravagant Mascara and found a MASSIVE brush. This medium-length rubber applicator is actually rectangular with deep crevices that transfer the product. It looks quite architectural and unlike any other mascara I've seen.

Sadly, it doesn't deliver on its giant-brush promise.  Not much product went onto my lashes with one coat and when I tried to build it up, I had to dig into the tube to even get excess product on the applicator. My lashes looked a little wispy, but lacked serious volume.

I let coat one dry in the hopes that a second coat onto dry lashes would do the trick, but alas, I was still only able to build medium thickness. I was so frustrated that I didn't even attempt a midday touch-up. And I still needed makeup remover at the end of the day.  This mascara is all flash and no sass, unfortunately. I wouldn't buy this baby.

Disclosure: Ashleigh purchased this item herself at Target.
