Barney's NY is planning on having a very Lady Gaga holiday season. The famed department store has partnered with the famed fame-monger/monster-haver on Gaga's Workshop. It's like the North Pole, but more Gagarious, of course.
The store will feature Gaga-branded packaging and shopping bags throughout the season and will also donate 25% of the proceeds from Gaga's Workshop items to a charity of the singer's choice.
“Lady Gaga is a rare cultural phenomenon, not only because of her exceptional talents as a singer, songwriter and performer, but also with regard to her support of equality and individuality and status as a fashion icon,” Mark Lee, Barneys New York CEO, said in a press statement. “Partnering with her in this unprecedented collaborative way to create the largest and most all-encompassing holiday theme that Barneys has ever mounted is a thrill. As a New York City landmark, we wanted to celebrate Lady Gaga as a fellow New Yorker and amazing talent.”
