Friday Flashback: Retro Grooming Commercial

Today I'm working on freelance work for a fragrance social media client and somehow stumbled upon this excellent '50s Gillette commercial.





It touches on an issue still relevant today--we always must have blades by the dozen at the ready, though in modern times, we have to spend epic amounts quarterly on cartridges. $.98 for 20 blades--can you even?

And tell me: How are you fixed for blades?

    i just bought an epilator (like, yesterday) so i'm no longer fixed for blades. i hope.

    although so far epilating has been A BITCH.
