Laini Reeves for Couture Colour Pequi Oil created Amy Adams' smooth Bardot hairstyle for the Vanity Fair Academy Awards Party on Sunday night. I LOVE how smooth and tousled Amy's wavy updo looks. The inspiration? Her Vivian Westwood dress. “Amy is sexy and feminine and we wanted her look to match," says Laini. Here's how to get the look.
Laini wanted to create a soft and sexy look that was a bit untidy for the Vanity Fair Academy Awards Party. To accomplish this look, Laini first applied a dime size of the Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment ($32) to wet hair. The Pequi Oil Treatment protects the hair from heat, while still giving the hair a natural luster and shine. Once applied to Amy’s hair, Laini blow-dried hair and wrapped it around a 2 and ½ inch curling iron in different directions to add texture and volume. She then pulled all the hair back into a loose wave on the top of her head. She then pulled pieces around her hairline to frame her face Amy’s face.
Love the dress, love the hair. What say you?
