Adir Abergel created a Barbarella-inspired bob for Elizabeth Banks' "The Hunger Games" red carpet moment at last night's premiere. The look was a futuristic take on a 1960’s style and I think she nailed it. Here's how to get the look, straight from Adir.
Adir began by applying Fekkai Ironless Straightening Balm from the roots to the ends of wet hair. He then blow-dried the hair with a round brush until it was completely straight. Adir backcombed the top of the hair to add height and then smoothed it back into a sixties half back style. He secured the hair with a few bobby pins. To give the hair a mirror finish, Adir applied Fekkai Advanced Brilliant Glossing Cream to the ends of the hair. He finished the look by spraying Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray for an all night hold, with a natural feel.
Fekkai products are available at Fekkai.com and Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, and Saks Fifth Avenue stores.
What do you think of Elizabeth Banks' Barbarella 'do?Yay or nay?
