There are certain things I CANNOT touch and I know it's weird. I would rather vomit in public than touch a newspaper. Newsprint--how messy it is and the way it feels--skeeves me out beyond belief. In the sage words of a famous philosopher we both know (MC Hammer), I can't touch this. I was elated when I could simply read everything on the Internet. I have similar feelings about most dry shampoos in my hair--it's entirely untouchable once it's in. OBVIOUSLY, I understand this is for the greater good (my hair), and so like taking the time to blow it out myself and never putting it up (a surefire way for me to ruin my own day), it's a sacrifice I made. And of course, not all dry shampoos are created equal. Some boast much better texture. Read on..
But this new Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray? It's a total GAME CHANGER. It tells a very sexy story that's more about the length of the hair than the roots, for starters. Apply it from the mid-shaft down to achieve a tousled, invigorated, volumized texture. I love its dry consistency, as wave sprays, while great for those with straight hair, make curly gals like me paranoid as we're taught to move mountains in order to keep our hair out of anything wet as it'll curl up like a spring the minute an H20 molecule comes into contact with it. This dry spray infuses new life sans wetness and it smells sublime.
Lift at the roots, full on glamorous texture and volume, ZERO white powdery residue.
I now quote MC in the negative. You CAN touch this.
Run your fingers through your hair, this is it.
