Fictionary: Mandle

Fictionary is a column showcasing beauty-related words that don't exist, but should.

This Fictionary entry comes courtesy of Royal Apothic. I've discussed this epic fragrance brand before, started by interior decorator Sean O'Mara (a Brit by way of LA). I've gone through what must be my weight of his jasmine-tinged marine scent City Of Angels (there's now a hand creme ($22) infused with the scent, BT dubs--get involved!) which makes me feel like a water nymph in the very best way. Nyad natty!

Anywho, the brand's come out with a new suite of delightfully scented confections modestly monikered Heroes & Aristocrats and my favorite of the bunch is their Mandle in The Scent No. 1--a scent masculine enough for the most virile of bachlelor pads This fragrance took three years and over 187 versions to perfect. Once it was complete, the boys in the warehouse declared it "The Closer" and they are confident you will agree. Nots of Jasmine, White Grapefruit, Lavendar and Cedarwood blend to create a fresh clean scent with a hint of wood and spice. It's $28 and available here.

The collection also includes Ultra Shave Crème Gel ($24), The Botanical Shave Oil ($18) and The Number 1 ($34) Scent.

Royal Apothic items are available at royalapothic.com. What are your thoughts on mandles? Are you into them or prefer to stick with your feminine scents?
