Get The Look: Zoe Saldana's Hairstyle At The 2012 MTV VMAs

Zoe Saldana looked stunning as ush at the 2012 MTV VMAs in pale nude-pink Ferragamo. Celebrity hairstylist Mara Roszak created the look--really rocking out the hair with a tasseled foux-bob. Here, the beauty breakdown for how to get Zoe Saldana's hairstyle, courtesy of Mara Roszak.

Step 1: To get this look I started by applying Oscar Blandi Jasmine Oil Serum ($35) to her towel dried hair. I always apply product to the hair starting at the ends and working my way up. The ends tend to absorb the most products, keeping it lighter towards the roots. This oil not only smells amazing, but it protects the hair from any heat styling.

Step 2: To the roots of Zoe's hair I sprayed Oscar Blandi Pronto Texture & Volume Spray ($25) for extra volume.

Step 3: I then rough dried her hair to enhance its natural texture, until it was completely dry. With a 3/4" curling iron I took random sections of hair and wrapped it around the barrel, leaving just the tips of the ends out. Once the whole head was curled, I pieced each section out with my fingers, just pulling apart the curls.

Step 4: I flipped the head upside down and sprayed Oscar Blandi Pronto Invisible Dry Shampoo Spray ($25) all over for added volume and texture.

Step 5: I then gently teased the underneath sections of the hair for grip and loosely tucked the ends under and pinned in place, crisscrossing the bobby pins. Allow some of the layers to fall out for a messier look.

Step 6: Finish by spraying Oscar Blandi Lacca Hairspray ($25) This hairspray is perfectly lightweight but has an incredible hold, and a soft feel on the hair.
